Alessandro Zerilli - bass guitar
Davide Rossi - violin

Afterhours were formed in 1985 in Milan by singer Manuel Agnelli, a Velvet Underground fan. The band released two albums and two EPs in english. Since "Germi" (1995), the group switched to Italian language, except for the album "Ballads for Little Hyenas" (2005), produced by Greg Dulli (who joined the band for the following tour).

Another rip from a dusty tape... this promotional concert comes from the tour of their most critically acclaimed record "Hai paura del buio?" (1997): by then, their sound was a mix of American post-punk (Butthole Surfers, Pixies, etc…), italian melodic-songwriting (especially influenced by Lucio Battisti) and unusual, explicit cut-up lyrics.

Enjoy (again)!

Marlene Kuntz are a great Italian post-punk band, heavily influenced by Sonic Youth.

The band held this concert on Italian national radio to promote their third record "Ho ucciso paranoia" ("I killed paranoia"), but highlights from their first two records were played as well.

Listening to the tape I made twelve years ago I found lot of hiss, that I removed as much as possible with Audacity.
Track n.8 has a few-seconds gap (as I had to turn the tape as A-side ran out…).

Enjoy!

I think most of them will be avaible on the web for the first time... so stay tuned!

Fleet Foxes is a Seattle-based folk band signed to the Sub Pop and Bella Union record labels. The band came to prominence in 2008 with the release of their second EP, Sun Giant, and their debut full length album Fleet Foxes. Both Sun Giant and their eponymous debut album received much critical praise and reviewers often noted their use of refined lyrics and vocal harmonies. The quintet describes its music as "baroque harmonic pop jams".

A beautiful concert by a band I really love.

The show comes from an 88.9 Radio Milwaukee podcast: I splitted the tracks and tagged them properly. Great sound quality except for some clipping at the beginning of the show.

I'm really interested in Fleet Foxes concerts, if you have any contact me : )

This concert was recorded on 26.07.2010 at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park: Wayne's voice - as usual - is very low, but the concert is great.

New Order were an English musical group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, backing vocals, electronic drums) and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers). New Order were formed after of the demise of their previous group Joy Division, following the suicide of vocalist Ian Curtis. They were soon joined by additional keyboardist Gillian Gilbert. New Order combined post-punk and electronic dance, and became one of the most critically acclaimed and highly influential bands of the 1980s.

New Order are one of my favorite bands and I specially love their Ibiza-house influenced record "Technique" (1989): this classic, great sounding bootleg was recorded on 16.06.1989 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, California during the Technique american tour.

This is the recording of the
13.11.1996 Milan gig of No Code tour.

It's an audience recording: the quality could be better, but I was there with my friends and it was my first PJ concert, so you know… : )

I remember that before the opening band (The Fastbacks) came on stage Vedder introduced them playing a solo version of The Who's "The kids are alright"… unfortunately this song is not included in the bootleg.
